Oticon launches new Real hearing aids

We’re excited to announce the arrival of the latest hearing aids from Oticon!

At Oticon, a commitment to understanding patient needs and delivering effective solutions is at the heart of everything they do. With Real, Oticon has developed a hearing aid that works more like the brain, learning through experience and offering superior ways of dealing with disruptive sounds.

Whether you're struggling with speech understanding or simply looking for a better way to experience the world around you, Oticon Real is the solution you've been waiting for. Real offers access to the entire open sound scene while providing increased protection from disruptive sounds through groundbreaking innovations.

Polaris R™ Platform

At the heart of the Oticon Real is its Polaris Platform. Built specifically for hearing aids, this cutting-edge platform features advanced detectors that enable fast processing of unwanted sounds, ensuring that all sounds are processed automatically and precisely, resulting in the best possible sound output for each individual user.

Using an onboard Deep Neural Network (DNN) trained with 12 million real-life sound scenes, Oticon Real optimizes sound processing to make sounds even more distinct and clear, adapting seamlessly to different listening environments.

With precise signal processing across 24 frequency channels, the Polaris R platform offers highly personalized fine-tuning of gain, enabling users to customize their listening experience to their individual preferences. And the best part? The platform is future-ready, which means that Oticon Real hearing aids can be updated wirelessly with the latest advancements in technology, ensuring that users always have access to the most cutting-edge features and improvements.

MoreSound Intelligence™ 2.0

MoreSound Intelligence 2.0 software helps you hear sounds more naturally and clearly.

The Spatial Clarity Processing feature recreates natural spatial cues to help you hear where sounds are coming from, and the Neural Clarity Processing uses a special computer program called a Deep Neural Network to separate important sounds from unwanted noise. And if you're in a really noisy environment, the Sound Enhancer feature can add more detail or make things more comfortable for you by adjusting the sound based on your preferences.

Furthermore, the platform incorporates two innovative new features, the SuddenSound Stabilizer and the Wind & Handling Stabilizer, which ensure optimal sound quality even in challenging listening situations.

The Deep Neural Network

Oticon More uses the intelligent capabilities of a fully trained Deep Neural Network (DNN) to handle sounds precisely and automatically. The DNN outperforms man-made algorithms and ensures that sounds are processed automatically and precisely for each patient's optimal sound output. The DNN has been trained with 12 million real-life sound scenes recorded using a spherical microphone, which allows for spatial detail and accuracy.

The DNN processes 500 inputs per second, optimizing how Oticon More makes sounds more distinct, working seamlessly across varying listening environments. With this integrated intelligence, Oticon More has learned to recognize all types of sounds, their details, and how they should ideally sound to support the brain optimally.

Tinnitus SoundSupport™

The More offers Tinnitus SoundSupport, an integrated sound generator with a wide range of sound options, including broadband sounds shaped to an audiogram, white, pink & red, and three ocean-like sounds. These nature sounds are dynamic and soothing and have shown promise in decreasing the annoyance of tinnitus. Tinnitus SoundSupport aims to provide a personalized treatment by offering four modulation options to any broadband sounds to create a wider variety of relief sounds.

Patients can adjust the volume level of relief sounds directly on the hearing aid or via the Oticon Companion app, providing easy and discreet handling and adjustment of relief sounds whenever needed.
