Marni Novick, AuD, is founder of Silicon Valley Hearing, Inc., which opened its doors in 2014, with the promise of delivering honest and affordable hearing health care, along with exceptional customer service to her valued patients.
Due to personal experience with her own hearing loss, Dr. Novick decided to pursue a professional career in Audiology. She received her Master’s degree in Audiology from The University of Iowa in 2000 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in 2004.
Dr. Novick is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Doctors of Audiology. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Audiology and holds certificates in Tinnitus Management and Clinical Preceptorship.
Dr. Novick has given many lectures on various topics regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, tinnitus and auditory processing disorders within her community. She enjoys mentoring future Doctor of Audiology Students and believes this is her way of giving back to the profession.
Dr. Novick has been a clinical supervisor for audiology students from The University of the Pacific and is looking forward to welcoming students from the new Doctor of Audiology programs opening within the state of California.
She resides in Palo Alto with her husband and two children.
Patty is a Doctor of Audiology student from the University of the Pacific. She decided to pursue a career in audiology because of her personal lifelong experience with hearing loss.
She graduated with honors from San Francisco State University in 2014 with a degree in public health and has a post-baccalaureate in speech-language pathology.
Patty is passionate about providing patients with outstanding personalized care. In her free time, she is an active swing dancer, archer, gardener, and is pursuing a certificate in animal audiology.
I am a first generation Mexican-American student born and raised in the Bay Area, California. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from San Jose State University in 2020. I am currently a doctoral student of audiology at the University of the Pacific.
I am passionate about providing equal and accessible quality care to English and Spanish speaking families alike. I enjoy working with diverse populations and helping people from all walks of life. I believe that every patient should receive the highest quality of care when seeking individualized solutions to hearing loss. My clinical interests include diagnostic evaluations, tinnitus management, and fitting pediatric and adult hearing aids.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and being outdoors.
Julia joined Silicon Valley Hearing, Inc. in November 2020. She has over 15 years of experience in the medical field and is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and creative writing.
