Oticon Zeal represents a new category of hearing aids with its flexible NXT design. Unlike traditional custom in-the-ear devices that require impressions and waiting periods, Zeal offers same-day fitting options using standard domes. For those who prefer or need a more customized fit, micro-molds are also available. This flexibility means you can start hearing better immediately without compromise.

The device fits comfortably in approximately two out of three people with a dome fitting and is nearly invisible when worn. The unique wrap-around antenna serves three purposes: it acts as a retention arm for secure fit, an extraction cord for easy removal, and a Bluetooth antenna for reliable connectivity.

Advanced AI Sound Processing

Zeal is powered by the Sirius chip, the same advanced platform that drives Oticon Intent. The always-on AI technology uses Oticon's second-generation Deep Neural Network (DNN 2.0), trained on millions of noisy speech samples with 256-channel analysis for precise sound processing.

BrainHearing technology supports how the brain naturally processes sound, giving users access to all relevant sounds in their environment while the DNN reduces background noise by up to 12 dB in complex settings. Zeal delivers up to 20 hours of battery life with typical streaming use. The quick-charge capability provides 4 hours of use with just 15 minutes of charging, or 8 hours with 30 minutes. The included portable SmartCharger holds enough power for multiple recharges when away from home.

Thanks to innovative micro-encapsulation technology, Zeal's electronics are fully protected within hardened material, creating exceptional moisture and debris resistance with an IP68 rating. This manufacturing approach also allows for consistent component placement and reliable long-term performance.

Modern Connectivity

Zeal provides seamless Bluetooth LE Audio streaming for both iOS and Android devices, including hands-free calling. Google Fast Pair makes connecting to Android devices effortless, while the Oticon Companion app allows easy adjustments of volume, treble, bass, and program settings.

Auracast technology is built-in and ready now, allowing users to receive broadcast audio in public venues like theaters, airports, and houses of worship without waiting for future updates.

Fitting Range

Zeal accommodates hearing loss from moderate to moderately-severe with instant-fit domes, and can extend into the low end of severe hearing loss with custom micro-molds. The device provides approximately 40 dB of gain, similar to Oticon's micro-RIE devices.
