Reveal takes a different approach from devices that simply remove as much background sound as possible. Instead, it works to find your individual balance between speech clarity and environmental awareness, which Oticon calls your "balance point." The result is a listening experience that feels connected to your surroundings rather than closed off from them.

Dual-AI Sound Processing

Reveal uses two artificial intelligence systems that operate together in real time. Speech AI identifies and enhances the voices you are trying to follow, while Context AI preserves the meaningful sounds around you, such as footsteps behind you, a car approaching, or music in another room. The two systems analyze your sound environment every two milliseconds and combine their work to keep speech clear without stripping away useful context. This is Oticon's third generation of AI-based hearing technology, following Oticon More and Oticon Intent.

The processing itself takes place in the Reveal AI Clarifier, which replaces the MoreSound Intelligence terminology used on earlier Oticon platforms. It handles the moment-to-moment work of separating speech from surrounding sound and blending the two into a natural result, with up to 12 dB of noise suppression available in demanding environments.

Feedback Control and 4D Sensors

Feedback is the whistling sound that can occur when amplified sound escapes the ear and re-enters the microphone. The Reveal Optimizer is Oticon's updated feedback-prevention system, offering up to 4 dB more fitting headroom at 4,000 Hz. In practical terms, this allows your audiologist to provide more of the amplification your hearing loss calls for while keeping the risk of whistling low, which is especially useful for open and vented fittings where the ear canal is left less obstructed for comfort and natural sound.

Reveal also continues to use Oticon's 4D sensor technology. These sensors take into account your head movement, conversation activity, and listening environment before the hearing aid decides how to process sound, so the device responds to what you are actually doing rather than sound alone.

Connectivity and Streaming

Reveal includes a new connectivity platform and radio transmitter, with:

• Auracast broadcast audio compatibility

A new Streaming Comfort feature automatically reduces surrounding environmental sound while you are streaming, helping phone calls, music, and podcasts stay clear and prominent. The amount of reduction can be adjusted through the mobile app or fine-tuned by your audiologist in the fitting software.

CROS Option and Charging

A new Oticon CROS transmitter launches alongside Reveal for patients with hearing in only one ear. It uses near-field magnetic induction and Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, supports dual streaming, and shares charging hardware with the Reveal hearing aids, so a single charger handles both devices. Reveal itself is available with a desktop charger or a portable travel charger, and comes in a range of colors including a new Deep Plum finish.
